She and her friends looked at him. She knew that they exsisted, because she had seen them, with that lion in the woods that night.
That night is when her dad called her and she never picked up, because she was too shocked. When she saw them, she almost screamed. She opened her mouth and Maxye came to her and closed it for her. “Don’t speak,” he said.
She asked him “Why didn’t you say anything last time? I knew about you the whole time.” He replied, “I just don’t want us to get caught, so keep your mouth shut about this okay?” What she replied with was, “Will you go out with me?” He said, “If that’s what it takes to keep you quiet about us.”
